The AJ Louis Poulsen lamp is an evergreen iconic desk lamp designed back 1957 by Arne Jacobsen. It was commissioned for the SAS Royal Hotel present name Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Jacobsen, a famous Danish designer and architect (1902-1971) was the original designer of many Scandinavian iconic furnishings and lights, such as the Egg, Series 7, The Ant and The Swan chairs. Back then, this AJ desk lamp is the ultimate modern designer ark work. It’s functional design with an unmistakably asymmetrical shape, with an adjustable head, so the light shines where you want it to shine, very practical where require a very focus task.
