The Moooi Heracleum II Bertjan Pot Suspension Pendant Light, is a massive 98cm gorgeous decorative LED fixture intricately designed to resemble a Heracleum plant. The designer Bertjan Pot is best known for his work, the Moooi Random Light, created back in 1999. His experimentation continued as he explores the relationship between man and nature in the Moooi Heracleum II Pendant Light. This beautifully constructed ornamental show of workmanship is visually stunning, breathtaking at first glance, and can be seen in ABC’s Grand Designs House of the Year 2016. Flexible and easily re-positioned, the Moooi Heracleum II Pendant Light’s leaves can be rotated around their stem creating a unique personalised piece that varies between individuals and settings. With a brown copper brush metal canopy, the branch design is aesthetically pleasing while providing a dazzling source of light. Using a coating technique of conductive layers called an Electrosandwich, made famous by Marcel Wanders, the Moooi Heracleum II Pendant Light offers a structure and design formerly not possible with normal wires. The current range of the Replica Moooi Heracleum Pendants are Heracleum II Small, Heracleum II Large, Heracleum II Extra Large and Heracleum Endless Suspension Light, all available in integrated and yet replaceable LED light bulb.
