The Gräshoppa is probably is one of the most iconic floor lamps of the 20th century and commonly called Grasshopper in most parts of the world. This tripod shaped standing lamp was first introduced to the world back in 1947 from design powerhouse Gubi. This iconic piece featuring a lampshade can be tilted backwards, the conical shade is attached to the main body using a ball joint for greater flexibility of movement. European Modernism probably has the largest influence on Greta Grossman’s designs, and this is demonstrated in this mid-century floor lamp. A unique, and modern classic, this designer tripod floor light is available in many different colours including black and white. This iconic mid-century lamp is in black, with non-dimmable inline foot switch.
