This light fitting is an iconic sculptural Bubble Saucer Lamp pendant light by George Nelson. It is part of the larger Bubble Lamp series designed back in 1947. Howard Miller then went on to produce the series in the early 1950s until 1979. The George Nelson Light is now regarded as one of the finest classics of American modernism design. The George Nelson Bubble series lighting is made of polymer cocoon coating material over white powder coated steel wire-frame, coupled with metal chrome or white powder coated ceiling canopy. Other George Nelson Light available are Apple, Ball, Cigar, Criss Cross and Pear. They look sensational, especially hang in a group with different height arrangement over a void entrance or stairwell.
