Like the larger size Flos Aim, the Flos Aim Mini 5 Light Pendant is a work of art as much as it is a lighting instrument. Redefining the modern pendant light, an ordinary pendant light hung straight down from the ceiling rose, this Flos Aim 5 Pendant moves away from the concentration of mass about the centre point of its predecessors. The 5 mini black hanging lamp shades are connected to a tangle of wires, mimicking a glowing tropical plant, like those found in the Amazon jungle. French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created this most simplistic yet flexible design. Developed by France’s most talented duo, this uniquely asymmetric feature light provides a combination of lighting through the height and direction multiple light shades. This innovative Aim Mini 5 Light Pendant is constructed from a varnished aluminium sheet, with two types of Aim Mini Light, Type 1 and Type 2. The difference is Type 1 is pre-installed with a white polycarbonate glass diffuser and illuminate via inbuilt SMD LED globes. While Type 2 is made without a diffuser and illuminate via a standard E27 Edison screw light globes. Not only it is suitable for ambient general lighting, but the drum-shaped spotlight shade is suitable for many larger interiors as well as to being used to illuminate a particular object or spot. This light, from the Aim series and Aim Mini series both in black or white, are currently available either in the single 1 Light, 2 Light, 3 Light, 4 Light, 5 Light and 5 Light Mixed as well as the other combination of shades.
