Description
The Louis Poulsen AJ Floor Lamp by Arne Jacobsen was originally designed in 1957, part of AJ Series. Commissioned for the SAS Royal Hotel present name Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Jacobsen, a famous Danish designer and architect (1902-1971) was the original designer of many Scandinavian iconic furnishings and lights, such as the Egg, Series 7, The Ant and The Swan chairs. This AJ floor lamp following the same design as the iconic table lamp and wall sconce. Even it was designed back in the ’50s and yet today it still represents evergreen lasting modern fair. Yet functional design with an unmistakably asymmetrical shape, with an adjustable head, so the light shines where you want it to shine. I’m really happy with the quality and value for money of this floor lamp. Was looking for a quality replica. So many I’ve seen up close are very cheap looking and flimsy, but not this one! It’s really solid and doesn’t detract from my existing decor. Also love the minimal style. Customer service was excellent. They dropped the parcel to my home and also advised that more styles are available than are listed on the website. So I’ll definitely shop with Replica Lights again in future.
